Motherboard driver/mobo help

recently finished my build but my usb 3.0 ports are not working (supplies power but doesnt allow me to connect stuff via them) my mobo is the gigabyte 990fxa ud3 

-i have updated all of the windows drivers

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

no just the windows updates but ive gone on the above link and i am downloading all the drivers 

 

windows drivers??? does that also mean chipset stuf? 

 

 

you need to download the usb 3 drivers from gigabyte

Once you install the drivers from gigabyte you should be able to use usb 3.0 without any problems.

This is my opinion, it doesn't mean I'm right and is liable to change at any time. I may offend of which I apologize in advance.
