Hdmi extender via cat6 causing low refresh rate

Hi,

Just bought a hdmi cat6 extender, but unfortunately its affecting my refresh rate. My computer display settings are configured to output 60hz in nvidia control panel. So Im not sure why its looking like 24hz which is terrible for gaming and even web browsing.

Any support would be great.

Cheers

Not much you can do about it. Maybe a shorter cable? Or one with better shielding? HDMI isn't specified to be extended. You have to take it up with the extender provider.

I know this has been really long time ago..

I am currently having issue (similar to yours)

my team bought a set of following

1 unit TX HDMI Extender over IP

10 unit of RX HDMI Extender over IP

1 unit of RG-ES116G, 16-port Gbps Unmanaged Non-PoE Switch

media source -> TX HDMI Extender over IP (via HDMI cable) -> cat6 ethernet cable -> Port 16 - RG-ES116G -> Port 1 to Port 10 via multiple cat6 ethernet cable -> multiple RX HDMI Extender over IP (via HDMI cable) -> Smart TV

current issue : low frame on the receiving end device = Smart TV is showing video but with low frame / stuttering / lagging

please help 😥
