I just built a PC with a MSI 970 gaming Mobo rx480 GPU and amd 8350 CPU 16 gigs of ram. Everything runs fine and it handles stress tests like a boss. However, when I touch the top of my tower my monitor says no input even though everything inside is still running(lights, fans, etc.) I've already tried a different monitor to no avail,, please help :/

Thats is strange. Maybe your power point isn't grounded very well. You can test with a multimeter; plenty of videos on youtube. Once I discovered bad earthing by plugging in a surge protector, it played up with blinking LEDs and noise.

It's not on a carpet, I haven't tried a different cord yet but the one I have is from my ps3 and was working fine on that. I think it's grounded correctly, at least the surge protectors "GROUNDED" light comes on when it's plugged in. And yes it is wierd I can't find any info online

Update: I found two holes the center of my mother board that didn't have the mounting screws then measured with a multimeter from the inside to the ground of my power cable and it read open ( the ones with screws read <1 ohm) so I took of the motherboard, installed spacers and it hasn't done it again yet.. will keep updated on of it blanks again
