CPU led on

So I built my first build a month or two ago and have been having the CPU led stay on through the entire time and attempts that I have been trying to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Ive tried checking all connections, having the bear minimum set up, checking for a bent pin and making sure I have the correct orientation of my CPU, having no and different places with RAM, taking out the battery from the mobo for 15 seconds, and putting my mobo outside of the case on nonconducter and starting up. This has been a bit of a frustrating process especially after finally building my first computer and if i cant find the issue Im going to just get it looked at by someone who knows better than I but if someone here could help me that would be greatly appreciated by both me and my wallet.
