How do I get Folding@Home Beta WU I want to be able to Use GPU Core 17

I currently have an AMD FX 8350 and an AMD HD 7970 which I use to fold but the 7970 only gets about 2000 ppd. I have heard that gpu core 17 for f@h is available and I would like to have it because it is said to give up to 50k ppd for a 7970. Any suggestions are appreciated thanks.

You need to add the beta flag.

go to Configure -> Slots

Select the slot

Press Edit

At the bottom, "Extra Slot Options (Expert only)", click add

Type "client-type" in name (without quotes)

Type "beta" in value (without quotes)

Press Ok -> Ok -> Save

Although, If you're haven any problems with the core or WU's that is on beta, You will not get support on the F@H forum.

As for PPD, here is what my friend gets on his 3 amd gpu's.

7970 - 42.7k PPD

7870 - 21.8k PPD

5850 - 8.6k PPD
