MOGA + Splashtop = Not-So-Ghetto Shield?

Henry

Is the MOGA Pro Controller compatible with splashtop to use with games, such as, Borderlands 2 or any controller compatible game? Please answer below if u know for sure, I really want to try it out on my badass Galaxy S4

if so, that would make one kick ass Not-So-Ghetto Shield.

What do u guys think? $50 for a MOGA Pro is pretty decent,  considering the amount of apps that support it.

$50, nawww.

Someone should make a bracket for the Xbox controller that has the battery pack attached to it and the velcro on the top for like $15

That would be a good idea megadarkwood.

A Buy/Sell/Trade section is coming to the forums eventually, so yeah. That could be something for someone to do.

Its not like u can bring that anywhere u go. With the $50, its bluetooth enabled, directly to your phone, not your computer.

But do u know if the MOGA Pro is compatbile with PC games like regular controllers are?

The Xbox 360 controller has 2 ports, one on the bottom that can be used for accessories and one on the top that can be used for charging and most likely for accessories. I think that someone can come up with something. Most likely a big company.

And no I do not, I never heard about it until now, sorry.

I'm pretty sure most of the MOGA accessories are compatible with a standardized android controller API of some sort, so if splashtop can be used with that it should be fine.

SPlashtop probably will work, but I mean the actual games I try to run with splashtop, PC games, such as borderlands 2 , skyrim, etc etc, games that have CONTROLLER support. But im not sure if MOGA Pro would work. Since its not a xbox or playstation controller

Ty for the link btw.

Also, wouldnt it be better for an xbox controller since PC games that are controller compatible for the xbox controller? I may be wrong, never used a controller for PC game before.

Also, does it work for most android games? IE Modern Combat 4

I'm guessing that the way it works is that the splashtop app takes input from whatever controls are used on the phone, and sends them to the computer in a way it understands. Basically, if the Splashtop app on Android can take input from a controller, whether that's MOGA or a console controller it should still work.

I personally built my own ghetto shield and actually find it pretty fun to use but its no where near the experience of sitting infront of my pc in eyefinity with a xbox controlller and never will be

its not like pc streaming is the only thing it has...

playing games like NOVA or Modern Combat 4 with a controller is fun as hell. wlel i wouldnt know, i havent gotten my moga yet kjalkfdsjlkdsaflkdsajflksafd

Is it that simple? O.o

Im not sure if it is...but I guess it would be since the layout of the Moga is pretty much the same as the Xbox 360 controller. That would be badass to play a game on my PC via my phone :0
