CS:GO is pretty good if you want a game you can play for a very long time and it's cheap.

Well Doom just hit all time low for $17 and it's way above decent. Dying Light goes for $25 and it's a great game, Wolfenstein: New Order goes for $7, Killing Floor is sitting at $20, Darksiders (first game) is at $4, Tomb Raider and The Guardian of Light and Temple of Osiris are going for $5 each one (great for Co-op), Far Cry 3 at $5 needs no introduction. Just to name a few.

Look it up on steam. Game is like $10 and lasts 3-5 hours, but has a beautiful art style, support for all screen resolutions, and has some replayability.
