Need Help Building a $1,200 Gaming PC

Hello,

Overview:

This is my first attempt at building a Gaming PC. My budget is $1000 USD, but I'm willing to go up to $1200 USD for better performance. I'd like it to be able to run triple A games at high settings or better at 1080p at 60FPS. It also has to be able to allow me to use photoshop for web design. I also need peripherals like a mouse, keyboard, and monitor included in the price as well as Windows.

Preferences:

I'd like to have at least a Nvidia 1060 or a 1070 if possible. I'd also like to have an Intel CPU. I have no preference on a specific case or look, I just need something that will fit all the parts, but allowing for an easy build would be a plus.

Thanks to all who help.

True, peripheral choice is definitely not as good but I guess OP could buy newer peripherals down the line if he wants to get the glamour of a nice setup. The rest of your build was really nice, I love the case and mobo especially

He doesn't need 144hz. 60fps or 75fps is good enough for gaming. But that's my opinion.

Cryorig, G.Skill, Hynix and Deepcool are all good companies in their respective fields, i really don't see how they aren't as good as corsair, MSI and coolermaster.

don't look by the brand, look at the respective model and judge by review, not by how "known" the brand is.

Cryorig H7 consistently edges out the 212 evo.

the hynix sl308 is only slightly behind the samsung 850 evo.

review on the deepcool dukase v2:

and i don't have to tell you that 3200mhx ram is better than 2400mhz.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

treat the 6600k on stock as the 6500 and the overclocked 6600k as the 6600k(you won't be getting this if you aren't overclocking). constantly having a decent fps boost when overclocked.
