I am 13 and thinking about my future and i would like to have a job in computer. I was looking at being a computer engineer. What do they do and how much do they make in canada. I know that they are broken up into hardware and software and how could you get a job with lets say corsair or coolermaster or some company like that. What would i have to be good at in school and what would i have to take in university or college.

For companies like those, you have to be more creative than anything. I know someone who works at Antec, he doesn't even have a University degree, just a standard high school dip.

I am pretty creative I had a drawing in an art gallery for my school board and it was good but wouldn't a degree definetly help

Yes having a degree would help, what I'm trying to say is that you should be able to show something else than just a degree.

You want a job in computer? Have you applied for processor? I think I saw some RAM positions available at the ATX case.

Jokes aside, you have some pretty good opportunities if you complete a degree in IT or corporate systems management or other IT-related degrees (such as computer sciences).

I'd suggest trying hard in school and getting into university/college :)
