looking for a better case

i have this build already http://pcpartpicker.com/user/shippogirl16/saved/vmGp99  but i do not like the look or the air flow in this case.. also a case with led that can be shut off or none at all would be nice. since i don't turn my pc off when i go to bed, and i don't like to have any kind of lights on.

not wanting to spend a lot [no more then 80]

like black and red it matchs my build.

and good cable mag/ airflow

Pretty much every case will have a power LED that will stay on if the computer is on, but you can just not connect it to the motherboard. With that said, can't go wrong with a Phanteks P400.

the on i have now has like leds going down the front of it that kinda blink that are tied into the power indicator

maybe instead try to cover the light with a cloth or some hard materials so light doesn't shine? that's cheap and you can make it out of cardboard and cut it to make it more suitable with some hinges that can open/close

At least for now, you can disconnect the power LED from the mobo so it doesn't glow

or pull them out and cut the wires

also another method that will work is paint the transparent part of the button in black. yes black should soak all the light and you don't need to cut anything

but it doesnt fix the air flow prob with the case i got..

Can't go wrong with a Fractal Design case, I recommend the Define S, with or without window.

i guess you can always drill open some fan mounts...

can try view 27, phanteks p400/s or NZXT S340 for the new cases.

I do highly recommend the Define S. It doesn't have any leds (except for the power button, which shouldn't really be an issue). And it has potential for very good air flow

Should have specified if you needed them.

 

Go with the Define R5 then. still great case, and has 2 optical drive slots.

although I'd remove the top drive rack to help airflow. It not an issue considering I doubt you'll be using more than 4 drives max.
