I have an Antec VP700P that I bought while still being ignorant on these things for my i5+1060 build after my friend recommended it to me, "you need at least 700w". I can't find decent reviews and I'm wondering if this is slowly damaging my hardware through something like voltage fluctuations or if it's prone to dying at some point.

That's an F in the profile pic

It should be good.

It's made by FSP which is an average to good OEM manufacturer which makes power supplies for lots of brands. It's not top of the line like Seasonic, Enhance, Delta but it's a solid power supply.

If you had it for more than a few years (let's say 3-4 years) it may be worth opening it up to visually check the insides), blow out the dust etc. The warranty would be gone either way by that time.

It can work or not work. Nothing between. And no it can't damage your your hardware over the time.

Some power supplies are made with lower quality components to save money (capacitors are a very good example, high end power supplies use more expensive brand name capacitors compared to cheaper models of power supplies) which degrade slowly with heat and time, so after years of use and slow degradation, the quality of output of power supplies can be less than ideal.

Most components in the computer however have additional filtering and are overbuilt so they don't care that the voltages supplied by the power  supply aren't excellent, they'll still work.

Only in some extreme cases, a power supply can degrade so much that for example, instead of 5v stand by, the power supply may only output 3v or something like that, in which case your computer won't start anymore.

Your PSU is in the 6 tier of the PSU list. It is unlikely it will fry your pc so dont worry too much. Look at the PSU Tier list if you will be upgrading soon.
