Can my CPU run VR.

So I have an overclocked a10 7700k and a rx 480.  This is a big bottleneck but when I overclock to 4.3 ghz I get fx 6300 preformance numbers in geekbench. Will my CPU be fine for running vr cause I am getting a htc vive soon.

That's cutting it close. Run the steam VR readiness test and see what it says but personally I'd wait and upgrade.

It's okay for the Oculus Rift with ASW. Not so great at the moment with an HTC Vive.

I think It should work cause a fx 6300 works with it.

It's below the official spec. Doesn't mean it can't work, but there's a risk of some content not running smoothly.

The 6300 runs it fine and I'm cutting it closer so... possible it wouldn't work in the CPU intensive titles.
