Hi guys! I use this website g2a often to get games cheaper. I wanted to get Call of Duty Infinite Warfare for PC. G2A has a great deal, but it says EU on it. I live in the United States. This is the link:  https://www.g2a.com/call-of-duty-infinite-warfare-steam-cd-key-eu.html

On it, it says that I definitely cant play it in the US. But, G2A almost always has a USA or Global copy of games, why doesnt this one have it this time. Also, all over the internet people are saying that it will work if it is from the EU and you try it in the US. Do you think that this game will work in America? Thanks.

G2A is as dodgy as eBay, aliexpress, and even reddit. Their prices and the way they sell 'keys' is dodgy.

You never answered the question, do you use ebay?
And I don't mean for games.

depends. iv used amazon they have a great service that pays import duties and delivers in a few days. I wouldn't buy something from outside my region or go through the pain of trying to get something here. High local retail costs tend to reflect the trouble of importing. Same goes for software I wouldn't go for a deal that looks too cheap or is meant for another region. Too much risk and trouble for me to be bothered with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but eBay doesn't allow selling illegally obtained products or products that violate ToS of some other service (of which product relates to). My understanding also is that they will act on if seller provides faulty item and doesn't want to change it to working. On the other end G2A might not "allow" selling illegally obtained items or items that are otherwise against some ToS. But they also don't bother eliminating those sellers from their marketplace. Furthermore, rather than demanding seller to provide always working keys, they are cashing on the chance that key might not work with their buyer protection.

So in my eyes eBay is much closer to Amazon than to G2A.

To my knowledge, there is no way to regulate stolen items on ebay.
Someone could easily sell stolen items on ebay for sure, ebay wouldn't know otherwise.
Also, there is nothing stopping an ebay seller from simply making a new account with new details.
G2a and ebay are very very similar, ebay have a slightly stricter policy.
My point is, g2a and ebay are both a marketplace and you are just as likely to be scammed from ebay as you are on g2a.

What ebay and g2a both have is a rating system, if you're a smart buyer, you go for someone with a high seller rating.
I wasn't doing the comparison to say ebay was like g2a, i was doing it to compare g2a to ebay.

Edit, it's funny as I have been scammed twice on ebay and none on g2a.
I got my money back of course, but still.
