The thing i am most worried about is the amp and crossover say 100w but my overall wattage for both speakers will be 90w(i will have 2 tweeters, woofers and crossovers as i will be making a 2.0 setup), will they still work properly?

Cheers

Getting the frequency, impedance & cross over right is a pain. The power output of the amp shouldn't be too hard to manipulate. Audio electronics is very complex, there are big thick text books on the subject, so i won't claim to be an expert but you should be able to lower the amplifiers maximum power by reducing its input voltage. If you look up the chipset TDA7498 there is a data sheet describing its power output vs input voltage.

You're going about this in the wrong way. You should be finding a DIY speaker design, and building speakers off that. Based on the fact that you made this post, you don't have the first clue about speaker acoustics, etc. So, build a pair off of something that's already been designed, rather than trying to do this from scratch.

The Frugal horn is a good full range speaker that's quite simple since it doesn't even have a crossover. Also, the DIY speedsters are supposed to be pretty good if you're looking for a smaller bookshelf style speaker. Just don't try to build a speaker totally from scratch...

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
