Recommend me a KVM switch

So I am looking at getting a KVM switch because I work from home and I am tired of moving my desktop keyboard and mouse out of the way for my laptop. So I want to get a good KVM switch to just switch my keyboard/mouse from my desktop to my work laptop when I want without having any issues. 

 

So please link any KVM switches you personally have used  and why you think I should get that one.

it is a software KVM

it is free or pay some small amount for encryption. 

allows more devices than a hardware KVM

It will only be for the 2 devices here in my home office since I work from home.

it also works over wireless but i wouldn't use the non-encrypted version over wireless
