Just going to state, I really don't understand any of this more in depth stuff with PCs.

I have an FX-6300 though, and I heard someone mention that it only supports 2.0 (the previous PCIe version..?).

I have a GTX 960 2gb SSC, and just wondering if (asides from the super budget CPU) not having PCIe 3.0 effects the GPU's performance.

Thanks :]

Ryzen 7 2700x, MSI Gaming X RX 480 8gb, Asus ROG X470 Gaming, 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000, 120gb Kingston SSD (Boot) + 1TB Seagate Barracuda.

No, it doesn't affect performance.
