Help Picking Keyboard

I want to buy a keyboard for my Dad.

he works in his office all day and uses a mac.

I'd like to get him a mechanical keyboard similar to the experience of the ibm ones because he always tells me when he hears my mx blue switches when i type it reminds of him of the ibm ones.

He wont want anything flashy with light or anything just minimalistic and i dont know what switch type or what switch to get for him that is similar to the ibm ones.

id look around for some bucking springs keyboards used but if you cant find that then Cherry blue or Cherry green would be the switch to go for

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
