I'm getting a NZXT H440 which has a big basement area to hide cables in, plus I'm thinking about reusing my SF600 in this build which is an SFX PSU. So I was wondering with the available space is there any reason I should go with the more expensive option at Cablemod of getting PSU specific cables over just getting extension cables and hiding the stock cable in the basement?

Also they don't seem to do SATA to SATA extension cables so will there be any issues powering two 850 EVO's (on PSU shroud) and two WD Red's (in drive bay) off the same 4 connector molex as case fans, NZXT Kraken X62 and a NZXT Hue?

For anyone wondering about power draw the total wattage for my build is 435w on PC part picker so I have head room. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/FWQCD8

I spend too much on my PC. Then I spend even more on my Sim Rig. Damn, this stuff's expensive.

The only "issue" is that the basement does get a bit crowded. I have an H440 myself and I'm using extensions, and it's really difficult to keep the basement tidy. With that said, it's completely out of sight, so it doesn't actually matter. (other than OCD)

There won't be any issues as long as you use two sata strings and/or have a long enough sata string to cover both the SSDs on the shroud and the HDDs in the bays.

P.s. the actual power draw will be more like 350-400w.

P.p.s just my two cents on the build, I'd get four 4tb Reds (as it's about 35% cheaper) and a cheaper mobo. (I'm assuming you need all the storage/memory)
