Cablemod widebeam are the best led strips out there in my opinion, but theyre also very bright (atleast for the red version). So if you're looking for something more subtle, youll need either a regulator or another brand

I have the same case. Use the phanteks led strip. You can utilise the built in RGB hub.

yeah i know. you are only restricted to the colors the case provides tho and with the aura motherboard you can chose any color.

I have a ASUS mobo (Maximus VIII Formula) with an Aura header and I use a cable mod light strip, but I don't recommend it. Despite claims to the contrary, the colors do no sync well at all. When it's green on the light strip, it's blue on the mobo, etc. Right now I just set them both to a static color and try to match them as best as I can :(

What LED strips are you using? As that is a clear sign of the LED strip being wired differently to the motherboard.
