so i payed about $325 for a gtx 970 and even waited a whole year to upgrade my amd cpu to buy the 970 because it was so good.

 

now the 1060 is better and is $125 less brand new the pc market just sucks sometimes.

 

i say this wishing i would have upgrade my cpu last year and my gpu this year but i still will have a baller pc it just is funny.

i say this because the .5 of fuctional vram does not make much of a difference

This is why I hate the term "future proofing". Regardless of what you buy, it will be obsolete before you can say Pentium 4.
