So I have talked to a lot of emechanical engineering students, they all said that more power you have the better.

So are there any haswell laptop workstations with a hex core xeon CPU?

I'm not sure what you're after.

A workstation is just a PC, so are you asking if there is a hex core has well Xeon CPU? Then yes, there are many.

Workstations are also a kind of laptop (W and P series from Lenovo are Workstations)

Well I am looking used, so I just want some models and then I can see if I can get them used here in Denmark.

It just needs to be cooled well and have support for 32gb of ram

Workstation is a generic term for any pc or computer used for "work", literally any computer can be a workstation, that's what confused me.

However it seems like you're after a particular brand, so I guess just check their website.

I have seen laptops with 12 cores, so there must be a 6 core.

that was a laptop from a clevo with a lga 2011 socket. You can't get this from dell/hp/lenovo, and it is very heavy, thick and horrible battley life, while missing out on features like docking stations, touchstick, tpm's. I have yet to see a laptop with 2011v3

I'm pretty sure it's just the 6700k ones these days. So either a MSI 16L13, or P750DM2

is the GPU MXM? Cause the CPU is a socket. You can get a sick 4940MX down the line.
