My First PC Build

Dextrorsefilly8

This is my first build. I spent a few months on it tweaking it so it both looked cool and was in my budget($1500). Thanks in advance for any advice. :)

For a build of this calibre, you ought to get a larger SSD. 250GB would be ideal.

Also, a $200 motherboard that's paired with only a i5 6600K? With a cooler that resembles an engine block to cool it? Get a i7 6700K.

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Spoiler

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K - 4.5 GHz | Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO | RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 | SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB | GPU: MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6GB | PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 | Case: NZXT Phantom 530 | Cooling: CRYORIG R1 Ultimate | Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Peripherals: Corsair Vengeance K70 and Razer DeathAdder

I think it looks cool. Also, I also agree that you should probs get i7 6700 but not K because it will be a bit faster and then it justifies you buying that mobo. Also, what about AIO water 0cooling. If you do decide to water cool either go for NZXT Kraken X62 or maybe Corsair H115i . Have fun
