My heart

I don't know why, but sometimes, my heart randomly has a sharp pain for a brief second. 

Any one have some knowledge of what this could mean?

Could be acid reflux, could be cancer. If it seems severe, you should see a doctor.

Probably just your heart contracting weird.

See a doctor as soon as you can. Could be acid reflex or angina (easily treatable with meds), or the sign of something more serious.  Better to be safe than sorry.  And could be something else too.  My father had a heart attack and they end up finding cancer, so that ended up saving his life.  Too many variables to pinpoint on a tech forum.  Family history is also a factor.

I had these a couple years ago and they stopped on their own after I did more exercising and stuff. They haven't come back ever since.

Likely nothing if it's never lasting more than a few seconds and it occurs every now and then.  It could, however, be a response to the beginning of 2016.  Your heart remembers the pain and loss.. of Harambe.
