If he has 3000 buying a decent prebuilt becomes an option it will cost more for a decent spec system prebuilt and generally isn't the most cost effective way to go

there is nothing wrong with buying a prebuilt if you dont want to build it your self. They will generally have a warranty and its less hassle overall. The only down side is the price is considerably higher for a prebuilt of the same spec system.

 

but to clarify I'm talking more boutique system builders rather then off the shelf prebuilt. So places like puget systems, doghouse, origin pc, ibuypower and other places

I quite like origin pc though.... Never bought one... just saying...
