You can get a 480 4GB or 1060 3GB for about the same price as your desired 470, and both of those cards are going to be a fair bit better than the 470.

You should also consider investing in a better PSU, and maybe an SSD. you can shave some cost off of your case, motherboard, and RAM in order to allocate funds for that if need be.

A build like this would probably be better bang for the buck, and has an SSD which will be hugely beneficial for day to day OS navigation: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/sdwvbj

If you can spare a bit more cash, you may want to consider getting a 1060 6GB or RX 480 8GB (depending on what is better priced) which will perform a bit better than the 1060 3GB. You may also wish to fork over a bit more money for motherboard if it doesn't have the connectivity/features you want, but that isn't going to affect your performance at all, so you may wish to consider stepping up to an i5 i6400/6500 instead if performance is what you're after.

all that being said, there is nothing "wrong" with your initial build. you chose many good parts, its just that at your pricerange, if we readjust how much we spend on certain components you can end up with a stronger computer for your money, but its your money... feel free to spend it on whatever you want =)
