First Time Build For Light Editing/Rendering

I'm hopeful I can get some help looking over my build list. I would like to have this computer future proofed for the next 5-7 years. I don't really game, maybe minecraft when the kids are allowed on but thats it for games really.

Let me know how this stacks up and what can be improved or substitued. I really dont want to spend any more than whats in the list now, but if it warrants it I will. Thanks for looking

Id probably get the i5 6500, use the stock cooler, a h170/b150 board. A 1060 is also overkill, id go with a 1050.

quick question, if you don't game and only want the gpu for aesthetics like me, i'd find a used gpu that's white - it doesn't even have to work, its just there to look pretty 

 

other than that, can't really make much more changes - except for maybe getting a s340 elite or s340 white, as for the psu, 650 watts is overkill but you can't really find an option with better value since it's 10 dollars more than 550 watts.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. Yes we do get ripped off up here! So I should change the cpu, get rid of the evo 12 cooler and switch motherboards. Any recomendations on which 1050 video card to get? So confusing? Thanks

I figured I would need the gpu for video editing/after effects and photo shop. If I'm wrong please let me know, thanks.
