Found this while doing some research and couldn't find anything anywhere else regarding these chips. If you try searching for these listings on their site you won't find anything, you have to input the URL manually. Curiously enough, this website doesn't have listings for any other 7th generation chips.

seems odd as I read that skylake X and Kabylake X were both going to use a new chipset (X299) so I would have expected a new socket as well

Very possible that the listings on the site are inaccurate, just thought I'd share them.

only the server platform are moving to lga 3647. Kaby lake X and skylake X are both going to use lga 2066 , presumably for cost and size reasons .

A bit like lga 1567 a few years ago .

To OP : it seems like they just made a typo and replaced the 6 with a 7. Apart from the names , they match perfectly to the 6800k , 6850k , 6900k and 6950x .

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case
