Wireless USB?

I have an older Canon printer that sits downstairs in the front room, and my person PC is up on the complete other side of the house upstairs.

 

Is there any device that I can plug into my PC, and into the printer cable to be able to print wirelessly? I don't think connection would be much of an issue since the stairwell is open and between the two points

If the printer has Ethernet, you could hook it up to Powerline, perhaps.
