Hey,

Couple of days ago my pc broke.

And I was planning on buying a new one, and then I saw the ps4 pro.

And I am wondering how it will cost the build a pc that Mach the ps4 pro gaming performance.

Thanks!

* I never was a hard core gamer (my pc had gtx 660)

** for the foreseeable future I going to play at 1080p

Hard to say for sure since the settings for games on the PS4 pro are unknown but the PS4 Pro is essentially pointless for 1080p as it uses a straining AA technique that lowers its fps below 60 or 30 in games supposedly locked to those values

Realistically I'd say you could make one for 600-700ish maybe lower but the build would be unbalanced at lower price points (though it would still beat the ps4 by quite a bit)

This should be probably able to play 1440p/1800p at 30 fps like the PS4 Pro. Add another $30 to get a Windows 10 key from one of the gray market resellers like reddit or G2A. Another $40 or so if you want a decent controller.

Well something you have to remember is all of the other functionalities of a pc. They have a lot of essential tasks they can perform that don't involve gaming so in my opinion even if the pc costs more it is worth it to have these functionalities in a package with something you can game on
