It doesnt really matter, performance will be very similar between all. Just get whichever is cheapest or you like the most. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

They're basically all the same, but I recommend MSI and EVGA because they have better customer support than the others. They also happen to have pretty good coolers for their 1070s, be it the Gaming X or the ACX 3.0 models.

yeah, now that evga realized they were exploding cards and added the fix lol (seriously heard a lot of good things about evga and they quickly corrected their mistake so...)

I tried the MSI 1070 and the Asus. After the MSI failed on me in a week I swapped for the STRIX and haven't looked back. I've never had issues with EVGA, Gigabyte, or Asus components (my luck) and will stay away from MSI for the foreseeable future

I believe any EVGA you buy from this point on will have the required thermal pads, but if it doesn't EVGA should ship them to you no problem.

correct, evga cards were recalled from sellers (from what I heard) and new cards with the fix were sent out
