Crysis 2 running at 24FPS

Go to solution Solved by Russboy360,

Just found a way to sort it, start the game in windowed then full screen it on in game.

Sorry I should have looked first

I am trying to play Crysis 2 on my PC, my display is an LG 32 TV, (LG 32LK450U)

The TV support a mode called Real Cinema 24p, which sets the refresh rate 24hz

When playing Crysis 2 I use V-Sync, for some reason Crysis 2 is V-Syncing at 24hz making it unplayable

Is there a way of playing with V-Sync on at 60hz?

Is it only Crysis 2 that does this?

Alternatily you could play without VSync. Screen tearing isn't that big of a problem in modern games.

Have you tried disabling the "Real Cinema 24p" setting if your TV allows you to?

are far as i know it is only Crysis 2

The Real Cinema 24p can't be disabled

And in Crysis 2 tearing is VERY noticeable

If Real Cinema cannot be disabled you are out of luck :(

Sorry dude, but I think you need a new screen...

Will a 4k monitor run on a EVGA GTX 760 4GB FTW, plus I like the idea of 3D

it will run a 4K monitor but not with games running on it unless it's a non graphic intensive game or with very low settings. Maybe Minesweeper should be OK.
