Up Grading CPU, RAM, MOBO

Hello,

 

I am planning to upgrade my CPU from a I5-3470 to the new 7^th gen CPU when ever it comes out hopefully before X-mas. Since my current I5 is on an older socket type I would need to get a new motherboard (MOBO) and I am also planning on buying some dank DDR4 ram. 

 

So the question is what do i need to do to my computer to get ready for all of that should i download the drivers for the MOBO and CPU before installing them or will the computer prompt me do download the drivers before hand. I also have the question since its a new board do i need to mess with the bios so it will boot from my hard drive (i only have a hard drive no other storage devices).

Just put it in and everything be fine. You should not download driver on a non existing hardware. Like fixing a 7700k without 7700k in it

 

Update drivers after  you assemble everything

 

Should boot from hard drive. Or go to BIOS in case something wrong

I would do a full reinstallation of windows, there will end up to be drivers conflicting with each other and crap like that if you just plug and play.

 

Put the drivers for your new stuff onto a usb before you go though.
