White Build Opinions

Hi, I'm from the UK asking for some opinions on this PC Build.

 

Case: NZXT S340 Elite White - £96 - Link

CPU: i5 6600K - £240 - Link

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X31 £65 Link

Ram - Crucial Ballistix Sport LT White 16GB £70  Link

Motherboard - Asus Z170 Pro - £130 Link

SSD-  Samsung 750 EVO 250GB £70 - Link

PSU: Corsair CX 550W Semi-Modular (All black cables) £55 - Link

GPU:  Zotac 1060 Amp 6GB - £290 - Link

 

Total £1016

Aiming to spend around £1000.

If I could do my build over, I would make it white. I'd also get RBG LEDs and keyboards. That way I could easily change my system theme color with a click of a button.

Looks good but yeah as BiscuitMassacre said rgb would be sick. Maybe if you could get a kraken x61 instead. But for budget reasons the x31 is fine and the build will look and run great.

My GTX 970 carries me to global.

250gb is bit small for storage but it is good overall

Love and miss my white s340. Cleanest, best looking case in my opinion.

Yeah I know, I thought I'd start with an SSD and over the next few pay slips get more storage when needed.

That's how I'd do it. I never really understood why people get an HDD, then the SSD and transfer the OS and everything over.

Seems so much easier to get the SSD first. Plus HDD's are super cheap anyway.

Maybe Black Friday is worth waiting for? Not sure how big that is over in the UK.

Try using PCPartPicker to organize everything

I would definitely pick up something like a HUE+ to add some color. Maybe get a cheaper SSD to save costs?

Will do Hopefully, HUE+/ LED kits I'll probably wait for Future updates, Month or so. What SSD Would you recommend?

Most people wont know the difference in the 850 Evo and the OCZ Trion 150/PNY CS1311

That samsung one is nice, I personally use a cheap one from A-Data which is still plenty fast
