Okay, I searched up Asus Strix R9 390 water block and I found this one, I never heard of the company. What is your opinion on it?

looks like a cheap knock-off product to me. i never heard of the brand either.

i wouldn;t trust that thing filled with fluids inside my expensive pc! if you want good watercooling, go for the reputable brands (EKWB, Bitspower, Alphacool, etc)

Imo if you are going the custom watercooling route, do it properly or don't do it at all.

So if you want a waterblock, get one from a decent brand like EKWB as said above, they have a good rep.

edit: alphacool actually makes one!

but yeah, that does seem to be the only block made by a reputable brand for that card of yours. it's really not that expensive either!

There is one problem with this one, it only water cools that one part and the rest it just heat sinks.

I wouldn't worry about it, the base of the watercooling part makes good contact with the massive heatsink.

So i'm sure the heat of the heatsink will reach the water, metal is very good in spreading heat around so i don't expect a big temp difference between the gpu baseplate and the rest of the heatsink.
