wireless webcams

Howdy.

Does anyone have some good recommendations for a wireless webcam? We are trying to start a Youtube channel on diabetic education and my desktop is simply not in a good spot. I really do not want to run 10' of cord!

 

Any help would be nice.

Why are you planning to use a webcam to record youtube videos....

Webcams are for streaming and video chat.

Buy a real camera.

I wouldn't recommend a webcam for professional videos.

These days smartphone cameras are just as good as DSLRs for shooting videos, especially if you're just starting up. If you have a newer iPhone or galaxy s7 or something you can probably just use that with a tripod and a separate microphone and be good to go. I recommend a separate microphone because sound is more important than video quality when it comes to videos. If you did have money for a DSLR i'd advise getting an older model body like the cannon 600D or 650D and pairing it with a good lens since the quality is in the lens,

I don't have a smartphone, never had the need. But I can look into an older DSLR. I have still have my good old Minolta SLR and some very good lenses from back in the 80s (yeah, old fart am I). I have not checked to see if those older lens mounts are compatible. I should hope given the price of a good lens.
