In your opinion what is your favourite R9 280X. I am thinking about the gigabyte version, because of the blue PCB (Blue theme Build), and good cooling. What do you think ?

Thanks

When you have a blue build i would go with the Gigabyte one because the cooling is just fine ;)

MSI, Gigabyte, and Sapphire will give you the best cards.

Sapphire probably the best, so many of their cards are highly rated and are top side of the newegg ratings.

MSI and gigabyte just makes good cards in general

Next below them, HIS and Powercolor, Asus.

after that just dont consider anything else, go for sapphire or MSI imo.

Don't worry about the color, its inna case do you really care that much? and you could paint the shroud and find a back plate if you really want too. And black goes well with blue in theme anyways.

The Gigabyte cards are voltage locked so I would either get the MSI Twin Frozr 4 R9 280X / HIS IceQ X2 R9 280X / Sapphire Dual-X/Vapor-X R9 280X.

I don't like the Twin Frozr 4, it sounds annoying under load, it's quite effective however.

Considering performance, the Vapor X, Windforce and DC2 are pretty much top of the line, not all of them are quiet and not all of them look good.

The HIS IceQ performs really well and is whisper quiet next to some other cards but it looks so butt ugly I wouldn't want to buy one.

I went with a ROG Matrix, looks good and combines silence with performance .

144Hz goodness
