(CCNA) how to delete ipv6 address in packet tracer?

Theminecraftaddict555
Go to solution Solved by xGGAx,

you should be able to delete the wrong one by going to the interface and typing :

R1(config-if)# no ipv6 address [wrong address] [mask]

I realised that I accidentally configured a router with two ipv6 addresses (one of them being wrong), is there a command that allows me to delete one of the ipv6 addresses?

would the prefix (/64 for example) count for the mask, then when I do show run, the address should no longer be there?

yes, you can do either one, but I like typing the full mask just in case
