What could be the reason that Intel has been down for the past month?  Or any possible reasons?

Their stock has been down for about a month,  I assume when kabylake comes out the their stock will pick up?

If I am not mistaken, the problem is the dropping of sale of their CPUs.

If you don't have growth or potential growth, then shareholders and investors aren't interested in the company, so the stock drops, and Intel has harder time getting investors for investing in projects.

Oh damn,  iI'll wait to see the kabylake launch see if things improve,  I guess they need to be creating CPUS that have a larger performance improvements each generation or try and get into mobile devices,  Im going to take a guess and say this is an industry slow down?

For starters I'd look at how they're performing against similar companies on the same stock market, or the stock market index. Then also look, were there any financial statements around then? Or significant announcements?

It won't. The problem is that the future is smartphones, or I should say: the new pocket PC, because this is what our smartphones are. It is a PC that can do phone calls, but for most people the main usage isn't doing call.

 

Intel x86 architecture is too power hungry. It was designed for system with unlimited power (desktops) in mind. So it gave you great performance, at the cost of power. Great at the time, especially that we seeks every drop of performance, to do every day task... like even browsing folders... smooth and responsive. But today, it is all about mobility. ARM architecture is designed to be that. Performance sucks, but every year the ARM based chips gets faster and faster
