1080 fan vs watercooled

hotcoolfool11

i take it you mean the graphics card?

yes there is. watercooled gpu's will be more cilent and be colder while in normall use. sinds the 1000 series cards are volt locked you wont get much more overclock out of them but your card will be quieter and live longer due to lower temps

Liquid cooled cards usually have much lower temps.

Usually liquid cooling allows for a better overclock, and therefore you can get better performance. But in your case, no, since the overclocking ability for NVIDIA's Pascal cards is strictly determined by the silicon lottery. The biggest benefit from liquid cooling a GTX 1080 is for temps.

Yea, since gpu boost is heavily dependant on temps. Your gpu will be able to boost higher.

But its only better performance by a tiny amount.

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case
