Activating the FM radio on US unlocked Galaxy s7

So apparently the FM radio is activated on the Galaxy S7 for the big networks like AT&T, Verizon, and the such. But Samsung, in their infinite wisdom, decided to keep it locked on the unlocked versions of their phone, and don't seem to have pushed out an update to activate it. Has anyone gotten it to work on their unlocked phone? My s7 has the latest updates as of now, November 5th 2016. Apps like NextRadio say that the FM radio is not activated. I can't seem to find a way to turn it on, but maybe someone here has.

Bump. Don't worry I won't bump this thread again. I'm hoping bringing this up to the top just this once will get some fresh eyes on this.
