Why do you automatically assume he's trolling? Maybe next time you should consider giving a useful answer instead of a pointless comment... either that or don't reply in the first place.

@Tech Wizard, no. That CPU won't bottleneck the GPU.

Will an i7 3960X bottleneck an overclocked GTX 1060 6GB at 1080p/1440p?

Main:  1650 v2   @ 4,6GHz   -   X79 Deluxe                -   GTX 1080 @ 2000MHz   -   24GB DDR3 @ 2400MHz / CL10

Side:   i7-4790K @ 4,5GHz   -   Maximus 7 Hero        -   GTX 1070 @ 2114MHz    -  16GB DDR3 @ 2666MHz / CL12

It will super duper botlleneck....

NOT... Pls forget the word bottleneck ( I can understand that not everyone knows it and start wondering because it is mentioned so much these days). Why? People slam that word around with way to much wheight these days. Getting a good balance between CPU and GPU is best to get most efficient performance, but there will always be a bottleneck somewhere. And even then you will still be able to game properly :)

You simply might not get 100% of potential (not the case here, your CPU is fine) but aslong as enough and steady fps is delivered you are good to go.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.
