Not sure where to write this, but I'm wondering if I can use 2 PSUs in same system.

I have some weird PSU from HP 8200 elite tower, that doesn't even have 24pin (same on motherboard) and it doesn't have any molex or 6pin for GPU.

But I want to run RX 470 on this motherboard. Since there is no way to power it with current PSU, can I just use some old PSU that have 6pin or use that molex to 6pin? And put wire in that 24pin to jump start it? Would that even work xD ?

It would be used for mining, so once I get it up and running I would change anything for months.

Yup, should work if you jump the 24-pin connector. (Gonna be bulky though :P ).

Okay great :)

I do have that 24pin adapter to jump start from EKWB.

I'd not do it myself but it is possible. I'd just as soon sell my current PSU and scrape together like 30 dollars and buy one decent PSU.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Well it doesn't matter now, since Zcash id ropping down.

I was making like 14€ per day before, and it was looking great, but now I'm only earning like 2€ per day and price is still dropping, so there is no point for me to build mining rig xD

And yes, I do agree that it would be better to buy some normal motherboard that's using 24pin connector. Everything would be much more simple then.
