You ever been there before? Yes...Yes you have!

I can't say I have an amazing rig, I really dont. However, it runs what I want it to run. It is an extremely old PC, with a pretty outdated GPU. I'm not really the huge tech type of person but have always wanted to get my hands on....More.. I might be wanting more than I need, but anything is helpful. If anyone can look at my rig and make any suggestions? I need to refresh my entire PC(wipe everything), because my CPU always peaks at 100% and makes even smaller games like minecraft almost unplayable(I play with mods, so Its no surprise, it runs, but has its moments). Now heres the kicker, anyone know where I can get some PC items for cheap, but are obviously worth getting as well? Anything would help. I'd also accept any hand-me-downs ;) Not that that would happen. Meh, pity me, or don't. I don't play too many PC games but the games I do play I have to run on pretty low settings. Thanks everybody!

if you live in Sweden Blocket.se and the Sweclockers forums are amazing for finding deals on used stuff, if not look for something similar to Craigslist and any tech forum markets cuz thats where you find stuff

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

try using your local craigslist flavour to pick up processors on the cheap, you probably should just scrap that entire system because its REALLY low end. it would help us if you gave a budget though.

Figured barebones was the best way to go. Those seem to have decent deals and I have all the cables and what not to do whatever I need. I guess if I had a budget it'd have to be at least 500. At most 1000. Or something rounded to about there. Or as close to there as possible.
