Windows Multi-monitor Setup Issues

Hi!  In my setup, I have two monitors which are both 1080p.  The issue is that they are two different physical sizes: 24 and 28 inches, but Windows doesn't recognize the physical sizes of the monitors, making use a little awkward.  Is there a way (in Windows or special software) to make Windows recognize their physical display size and scale that way rather than how it is happening now?  Any help is appreciated!

I'm on Windows 10 Pro

This sounds like a graphics card issue to me.

Maybe I didn't explain it quite right, but it's not really a software issue, it's a personal issue with how Windows multi-monitor management works

Although windows 10 is the most flexible with multi monitor setups, I don't think you can set scaling separately on different GPUs  (if you have VSR or DSR supported on your GPU then you can try raising the resolution of the bigger monitor).

I have 4 monitors on my setup. A 19 inch 1440p , a 19 inch 1080p, a 17 inch 1080p, and a 27inch 1080p. I have never had this problem. You can try updating your graphics drivers, updating windows, and going into advanced display settings to make sure everything looks good there.

What is your problem exactly? Awkward does not really describe that. If you mean that you want the reso exactly at size of the 24 you would need to use zoom functions on the 28 inch screen. As you noticed 1080p is 1080p. But why go trough all the trouble, and what would be the use of the 28 inch then...

I guess I'm trying to see if there's a way I can make my 28 inch monitor act like one that is higher resolution than it is in order to make windows and text appear the same size as I move them across monitors

Well then you should do as I said and manually zoom out the screen of the 28 inch while still using the same resolution so you get black bars on sides. Most screens allow to adjust screen placement, and could in this case be used to move the screen where you want it after zooming. But honestly that would be such a drag and total dumb way to use a 28 inch anyway. Best solution is to just have same size screens or just go with the flow and get used to it imo.
