Hello there, one of my laptops shat it self to death and a friend of mine inspected it and he said that i had to get a new I/O board for it, but i could not find the model online, could i use any Laptop I/O board to fix the problem???

 

P.s

What should i know about I/O boards(Laptop)??

It will be proprietary to the maker so no, an io from a similar model with the same connector is your best bet.

Literally does not sound right. Ask a properly technician to inspect it. And you're fucked just saying. Because Razer solders EVERYTHING on the motherboard, you have to replace the entire motherboard, cpu, gpu and all. Experts may be able to de solder the bad components and resolder good ones on, but those guys are hard to find.

its a $2k laptop, and and i would rather pay $130 to get it fixed than pay for a whole new laptop

 

also if you say the battery doesnt charge are you sure the battery isnt dead?
