Hi guys im thinking about making a Wall mounted PC  just to use as a stream device for Youtube,Twitch and iPlayers things like that.

 

i was wondering whether anyone has some great hardware they would recommend as im new to PC building 

 

Just need it to boot up fast and be as light as possible.

ok so a $1? no really like you need to give us a price. I dont mean to be rude or anything of that nature but its pretty much giving us a revolver with one bullet and playing guess which chamber has the bullet when it comes to this.

If this is a pc to just watch youtube and such on, have you considered a mini computer like an intel nuc? They can mount on the back of a monitor, or can easily fit just about anywhere. With a wall mounted pc to do it cheap would require a custom built case out of wood or something, and mounting hardware to hold a 25+lb computer to a wall, which will require drilling into the wall.

same here. for multimedia purposes a cheap quadcore with a SSD would be all he needs.

the coolest thing would be to do custom watercooling. it's pretty expensive though, and really not worth it on low powered systems.
