Okay so... no matter the settings used, the FPS for the new version of skyrim runs at anywhere from 7-13 fps no literally no reason. Laptop is in my signature. Craziest thing is, I can do Fallout 4 on High with Ultra textures and stay around 40 fps even in combat, so this new skyrim shouldn't even remotely stress my system, even if it IS in DX11.

Anyone have any idea of what's going on?

I've since checked Nvidia control panel and attempted to get the Nvidia GPU to run the game via manual override to no effect. :/ Usage on my 960M shows it's not being used as well (GPUz). I think the game is just bugged for me. Completely unplayable.

Im not sure to say whether its a hardware or software problem. The SE Skyrim is pretty screwed up for me as well right now.

At least I'm not the only one! xD I knew it'd be buggy, and I was kinda foolish to attempt the game at launch. I never did that with any bethesda game. Period. Hell, I waited for about a year before attempting New Vegas.

If you've every seen game code it's literally scum of the earth trash. Wait for Nvidia to release a driver to fix it.

But they already DID release a driver optimizing the game experience I thought. o.O wasn't that the latest driver released? o-O Or was that just for the game profile? O_o

it seems like a issue. i've seen several other people claiming SSE having shit performance.

Yup. I'm aware laptops get shit on a LOT more often than not. Legitimately, I have friends still using 1GB GTX 560s that get better performance in some games than I do with my 960M due to drivers and desktop priority. :(
