If the drive has problems passing the quick or the extended tests it shouldn't really be considered as safe to use and you should replace it. Is the drive still under warranty?
Mind that erasing the drive will delete all data from it.
You should be able to see the Write Zeros option as shown here. Simply follow the guide and let me know if you need any other help!
