I really didnt know what to write in the title but I do need some informations. My question is can I put a case fan ( e.g. Corsair 120mm fan ) on the CPU tower cooler, or in my case a low profile CPU cooler and if yes should it be a static pressure fan or an airflow fan? It would be a limited airflow case probably with only 1 AF exhaust fan.

Case fans are for the case only.
CPU fans are for CPU only.
Static pressure fans are focused to cool one specific area, while high airflow fans suck up more air.
Cases usually come with 2 fans, but it's recommended to have at least 1 intake and 1 exhaust fan (depending on the components and the case, of course)

You can get some quality AF fans for like 25 bucks.

What CPU cooler are you using and does it have the stock fan ATM? Static-pressure fans are generally optimised for radiators, which is essentially what a CPU cooler is.

So could I use a SP fan for CPU cooler? Because the one it comes with is really thin and I hoped I'd get better cooling with full sized fan.

Sorry it's in german a bit but the specs are there. TDP is suppose to be 95W or up to 130W. But even 95W should still be better than stock.

A thicker fan might help but the difference won't be substantial if that's what you're looking for. The heatsink itself isn't that hefty.

Any fan with standard 120mm mounting holes and open corners will work.
