When you SLI 2 titan XPs with a HB SLI bridge just to run minecraft on a 720p monitor and set all settings to low and view distance to 2 blocks  (its all you want) and then you look at your FPS. And your screen is torn in half.

Minecraft is more CPU-bound than GPU bound, so..... Unless you also have a CPU with a strong single core, it won't be massively high.
